Andy started his career as an insurance broker in the London market working as a claims broker for Sedgwick Ltd. After a couple of years he moved to Arthur J. Gallagher (UK) Ltd. where he was made claims manager in charge of their North American and International claims.
In 1990 Andy transferred to the placing department and focused mainly on Florida public entity accounts. His role was to negotiate renewal terms with Lloyd’s of London underwriters. He also handled a book of UK public entity accounts, placing the reinsurance in Lloyd’s and the London company market.
Andy would travel to the United States a few times a year to produce new business and meet with existing clients. It was as a result of these trips that Andy moved to Orlando in 2001 to work on self insured public entity accounts, including an association of cities, counties and special districts in Florida.
Andy joined WRM in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing the public entity book of business.
